Reolì has developed a new innovative industrial plant for the production of new food products thanks to an internationally patented technology and the result of a decade of university research. The first range of products created is an olive cream, completely vegetable, obtained through an innovative, non-chemical process, which makes it possible to preserve and stabilize, for the first time, the nutritional and health properties of Extra Virgin Olive Oil in solid form.
In line with the trends of a fast-growing market, it intercepts the growing needs of consumers who are constantly looking for healthier products as an alternative to butter and margarine.
Reolì has already validated the market: it is sold by important players in the large-scale retail trade such as Carrefour, Conad, Coop and the B2C product line has been launched, used by industrial players who are using it for new product lines.
With a view to internationalisation, commercial contacts are under way with the Mercadona group in Spain and Waitrose in England.
The Reolì production plant is equipped with a 1000 kg/hour production plant, operating in a continuous cycle and in an automated manner. The innovative oil structuring technique is developed on two packaging lines, one dedicated to the large-scale retail trade and the other for the catering sector and artisan workshops.
The experience and marketing tests of the first months of marketing in 2018 have shown how, with further investments in the commercial and communication areas, the company can achieve promising results in markets, consumer and business, with great potential.
