Two Chinese investors have decided to support EatTiamo's business, investing € 200,000: the first step towards theexpansion in the Asian market, planned for 2020.
The Chinese investors will support the growth of the company's business in this huge market, providing their expertise in the food sector and acting as a cultural bridge.
"Thanks to this new funding we will improve our digital platform to automate the presence on international ecommerce platforms such as Amazon and of course Alibaba, preferential channel to enter the Chinese market. The potential is really huge and we are ready to exploit it to the maximum: we are demonstrating that even in the food sector it is possible and necessary to innovate in order to bring the best of Italian food in the world" comment Nicholas Figoli and Francesco Pelosi, the two founders of EatTiamo.
A new market for the company, which has already brought a box with the best Italian products to the tables of more than 3,000 American families. Defined by the Wall Street Journal as "the best Italian food box," EatTiamo has managed to combine a business model with the best Italian food. EatTiamo has succeeded in combining an innovative business model, a strong propensity for digital with the ability to export the products of more than 100 Italian producers, making Italian cuisine, famous all over the world for its quality and uniqueness, accessible to the American market.
An important goal for the company, which aims to attack new markets through an innovative solution that has already found theapproval of international markets, combining the high quality of food with the great possibilities offered by digital.
