EatTiamo makes quality Italian cuisine accessible to the American and Chinese markets and has been defined by the Wall Street Journal as "the best Italian food box". A few days after the launch it has already reached 44% of the collection > discover the campaign and invest
EatTiamo has already entered the homes of more than 3000 American families, in 2016 it had a turnover of € 180 thousand and in recent years has reduced export costs by 50%.
After being selected by Food-X, one of the most important accelerators in the world for innovation in the food sector, the company was based in New York where it was able to refine the business, launching the monthly subscription model (for the B2C channel), optimize the logistics and delivery systems and establish partnerships with important American players such as Food52 (for the B2B channel).
The innovative business model, the strong propensity for digital and the ability to export the products of over 100 Italian producers have allowed the company to recently raise € 200 thousand from two Chinese investors. This is the first step towards expansion in the Asian market, planned for 2020, where producers and players in the sector have already shown concrete interest in EatTiamo's high quality products.
The market in which the company operates is growing rapidly: the export of Italian food is now worth 98 billion and the American sector represents the one with the greatest potential, given that 80% of the products sold are "Italian sounding", that is fake. There is therefore a great demand for authentic products and quality Italian food that finds an answer in the EatTiamo solution.
Moreover, the USA represents the biggest market for the "Meal Kit" sector: it is worth $ 5 billion, it grows every year by 50% and reaches millions of families every day.
