Out Of was founded by three siblings, Federico, who graduated with honors in Physics from the University of Milan, Roberto, Industrial Designer, and Laura, Graphic Designer, and was born from their deep passion for outdoor sports.

Out Of then started by making ski masks and the focus has always been technology and innovation.

Since 2018, he started working on a new liquid crystal lens that was able to adapt to the surrounding light in less than 1 second, automatically, maintaining perfect uniformity of vision and without using batteries.

He presented the first prototype here on Mamacrowd, and the community's enthusiasm caused the campaign to overfund 4 times, making it reach 1 million euros (deeded cap).

In 2020, as soon as the campaign closed, Out Of actually succeeded in producing and delivering Electra, the first product on the market with this technology.

Sincethen it has received many requests from some of the world's largest groups in the motorcycle helmet, luxury, optics, and personal protective equipment sectors. As a company they then decided to also become technology suppliers and offer liquid crystal technology optical solutions to interested groups.

This is how Irid® was born, which aims to be a B2B brand also known to the end public, on the same business model as Gore-Tex, Vibram and Intel.

The company has already raised 3.8 M€ and counts among its investors top managers in the world of optics and private equity.

Tax benefits of 30% apply on Out Of 2 .

Out Of reserves the right of "liquidation preference" to all investors who join the campaign, who will therefore be reimbursed first in case of exit than the company's other shareholders (according to the order of preference indicated in the bylaws). All conditions are published in the bylaws found in the Documents section.

On the campaign is available the optional Rubrication free of charge for the Investor as the costs are borne by Out Of.
