Opificio Fred is a Friulian company specializing in the production of artisanal spirits and liqueurs made in Italy founded by Federico Cremasco, an expert herbalist with consolidated experience in the spirits & mixology sector. The company, founded in Polcenigo in the province of Pordenone, one of Italy's 100 Most Beautiful Villages within the Dolomites Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has become over the years a true excellence in its field, recognized by many bartenders around the world.
In fact, when you taste Fred Jerbis spirits, Fred Alkemil liqueurs or the new Gorgazzina Tonica, you are not just enjoying a liqueur or a cocktail, but also a territory, a history and an ancient culture, renewed by the creativity of an innovator like Federico, capable of combining the study of tradition with the desire to experiment, to design from a new perspective to create something original and unprecedented.
In an increasingly selective market, but one that until a few years ago saw the emergence of countless private initiatives in the spirits sector, Opificio Fred has quickly established itself as one of the most interesting realities in the world of Italian craft spirits.
On the strength of constant growth, with an eye always on economic and financial balance and a production that stands at 40,000 units per year, Opificio Fred's story has developed since the beginning on the international axis and especially on the Italian-American one. Two main distributors have espoused its philosophy and distinctive elements: Spirits & Colori for Italy, Oliver McCrum Wine & Spirits for the United States. This is joined by new countries and importers, such as Japan, Canada, Belgium, Slovenia, Austria and Mexico.
The company, which expects to close 2023 with a turnover of more than 400,000 euros, has grown in terms of revenues, by more than 45 percent in two years, compared to 2021, the year of the previous crowdfunding capital increase.
With this second raising, called Equity for Spirits, the company has set itself the goal of expanding and consolidating the company's production apparatus with new equipment, a bottling line, and a proprietary warehouse, such that it can meet the ever-increasing demands of the market.
In fact, the ability to secure control of the entire production chain, from distillation to automated bottling, and part of the logistics and distribution, would grant the company an undoubted competitive advantage that would open the door to numerous additional market opportunities.
In the medium to long term, the company aspires to become the Italian leader in artisanal spirits, enhancing Made in Italy through local typicalities and a global vision.
Opificio Fred reserves the right of "liquidation preference" for all investors who join the campaign, who will therefore be reimbursed first in the event of an exit compared to the company's other shareholders (according to the order of preference indicated in the bylaws). All conditions are published in the bylaws found in the Documents section.
On the Opificio Fred campaign, the optional paidRubrication service is available.
