Founded in 2016 by Giorgio Campagnano, the 5th generation son of insurers, MioAssicuratore.it is the completely digital insurance broker in Italy, included in the list of the top 100 insurtech leaders of 2021 by Forbes.

MioAssicuratore is the portal that makes insurance simple by letting you calculate and compare quotes for over 120 different types of policy, thanks to agreements with some of the best insurance companies on the Italian and international markets.

It's all just a click away, from personal insurance such as home and health insurance to business policies such as retail, hospitality and professional indemnity.

Unlike a comparator, MioAssicuratore provides the ability to purchase the policy in the same process, without confusing the user and establishing a direct relationship with them.

Customer needs

Purchasing a new insurance policy is stressful and extremely complex: the traditional marketplace does not meet users' expectations due to a lack of transparency and ease of understanding, an inefficient process and quotes that are not always in line with customers' real needs.

MioAssicuratore helps to choose, buy, renew the perfect policy for the customer, for any type of insurance in a quick and efficient way, providing users with a fully digitalised process and the support of highly specialised operators.


Thanks to technology, on myassicuratore.it users can instantly calculate, compare and manage over 120 different types of policies.

The software used has been developed in-house with a highly scalable microservice structure, including quote templates and customer analysis algorithms, the latter of which are registered with the SIAE.

MioAssicuratore has an innovative and digitised distribution and customer communication process, both through the website and through the iOS and Android mobile app.
From quote to policy underwriting and subsequent renewals for all coverage offered.

Over 75% of the staff, excluding the call center, are employed in technology and innovation, and are developers and designers.

Customer and Traction

MioAssicuratore stands out in the market for an important track record with 24 thousand policies issued and500 thousand registered users, an established client portfolio with a annual renewal rate of over 75% that lays the foundations for a company that is constantly expanding.
Customers are satisfied: the service offered has been rated "Outstanding" with more than 300 reviews on TrustPilot and Google with an average of 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Despite the lockdown, the 2020 has seen further revenue growth, highlighting flexibility and resilience in the company's digital approach mainly due to policy renewals from previous years.

MioAssicuratore has been funded by some of the most important VCs in the Italian landscape such as Innogest Capital SGR, H Farm and Pi Campus and has already raised investments of 1.8 million euros.
