Kippy offers its users a product and a service to take care of their pets in a simple and complete way, creating a real pet smartphone.

Today, dogs suffer from problems that are closely linked to the increasingly sedentary lifestyle of their owners: the lack of adequate physical activity leads to weight and heart problems, as well as compromising their physical fitness.

Moreover, pets often get lost and in many cases are never found again.

Kippy EVO is a small and lightweight device, which attaches to the collar and does not bother the animal wearing it.

The advantages are enormous:

  • Indicated KPIs(walking, calories, play, run, sleep and movement) give a complete picture of the pet's activity level
  • Suggestions on the amount of physical activity needed are personalized and scientifically established based on breed, age and weight, according to an algorithm developed in collaboration with the University of Milan
  • Push notifications sent from the app to the smartphone keep humans informed about the real needs of their friends, helping them become better companions
  • Position tracking is accurate, and communicating with the phone through the data network is not subject to problems related to excessive distance

This device is the result of a long process of research and development, technologically placed at the highest end of the market for all the main features: reception, networks, accuracy, battery life, bluetooth and WiFi integration. Today, Kippy EVO is a tool that can change the relationship between human and pet, making it more virtuous, at the cost of a small monthly subscription.

The integrated social network also fits perfectly with the idea of targeting more and more direct users, as it nurtures a sense of belonging to a community and allows you to share the moments spent with your dog or cat with other enthusiasts.

The launch of the Kippy Cat product at the end of 2021 will further expand the user base, extending it to the many cat owners who want a tool tailored to the specific needs of these beautiful animals.

Improvements to the product and the decision to sell it primarily B2C on direct channels have led to strong traction, with the number of activations growing steadily month on month.

Subscriptions from direct users generatedover €450,000 inH1 2021, compared to €159,000 in the first six months of 2020; while online sales brought in revenues of €280,000 compared to €96,000 last year.
