Project

DNAPhone is an innovative Italian company with a clear vision: to revolutionize quality control in the agri-food chain by developing innovative analysis platforms connected to mobile systems and cloud services.

Born within the Engineering Department of the University of Parma, DNAPhone designs, develops and markets technological solutions able to perform chemical and biological analysis in an independent, reliable and simple way, without the need to train specialized technicians or set up dedicated laboratories.

DNAPhone was born in 2014 from the incubation program of B-Ventures and has attracted the attention of private professional investors operating in the reference sector and promoters of two capital increases, for a total raised of more than 800K€ used to develop the innovative technology, the software platforms, the analysis kits and to start the production of the instruments.

Smart Analysis is the platform for quality control, dedicated to small and medium-sized companies in the agri-food sector. After more than two years of technological development, Smart Analysis started in 2018 the commercialization phase for the wine sector, selling the first units to Wineries and Oenologists who consider Smart Analysis the only tool currently on the market that can best meet all the needs of customers in this supply chain.
