Last hours to invest in StartupItalia, the Italian equity crowdfunding campaign with the most investors ever: over 1900 adhesions for € 2.5 million.
StartupItalia, the leading Italian media company in the innovation and startup sector, now aims to become the largest Italian innovation hub .
In three years it has built a consolidated business with 82 large clients (including multinationals and important Italian companies), € 2M proforma revenues in 2018 and positive ebitda.
It also has 1 million readers, 2 million fans on social media, a TV column on La7 with an audience of 500 thousand viewers, 600 authors and speakers and top-level events.
From today it aims to attack a scalable market with high margins by combining the experience of the founders of Dada and Nana Bianca, which has a portfolio of over 50 startups and a team dedicated to Open Innovation, and the entrepreneurial experience of Marco Montemagno, the strength of his digital community of over 1 million followers and his startup 4Books, a recent acquisition of StartupItalia.
StartupItalia bases its growth project on three pillars: the creation of a new generation publisher, with a strong vocation for video, which will become the point of reference for the Italian technology and startup ecosystem; the launch of the largest digital academy for training in the professions of the future and new entrepreneurship; the construction of the largest Italian community that brings together startups, companies and investors in a data driven platform, a physical space in Milan of over 10,000 square meters and a series of major events.
StartupItalia operates in a rapidly expanding market.
Today more than 10 thousand startups employ more than 50 thousand people and in the first 9 months of 2018 investments in innovative companies amounted to € 307M (+124%, estimated at the end of the year of € 500M) to which € 800M of new investment funds are added. In the last 5 years 345M corporations have been established, but only 3% with nature of innovative startups. 37% of employees' skills have been learned in the last year and in the next 5 years there will be a lack of 300 thousand super technical professionals.
StartupItalia is on the launching pad and wants to be, together with you, the protagonist of the innovative revolution in our country by satisfying the wave of new needs emerging from this market.
