Barberino's, Prometheus and Contents.com the winners of B Heroes

Barberino's, Prometheus and Contents.com are among the five winning innovative companies of the fourth edition of B Heroes, the acceleration and mentorship program dedicated to Italian startups promoted in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo and Innovation Center and which ended last week.

The three companies, which between 2019 and 2021 have conducted and successfully concluded their equity crowdfunding campaigns on Mamacrowd, will access the total investment of €1 million by B Heroes and B Holding.

Investments by B Heroes

From B Heroes comes another important confirmation for the startups supported by the Mamacrowd community, proving the goodness and potential of the projects promoted on the platform. The three companies have passed a long process of analysis and selection, curated by the investment team of B Holding and led by Fabio Cannavale, creator of B Heroes.

After having raised more than 1 million euros from the crowd in 2020, the chain of Italian-style barber salons Barberino's (Milan) will receive 300,000 euros. A Prometheus, the innovative medtech startup that with its regenerative medicine solutions has conquered the Mamacrowd community, raising €1 million in investments, will receive €100,000. While with its artificial intelligence algorithm to create content automatically for any kind of business Contents.com (in 2019 as News.it raised about 430,000 euros of investment), is awarded 150,000 euros.

In addition to accessing Intesa Sanpaolo's ELITE Lounge dedicated to B Heroes, which will start in September, the three startups, together with the other finalists, will be protagonists in the journey into the world of Italian innovative entrepreneurship that will be broadcast in a docufilm in September on Sky channels and among the content available online on NOW.
