Perfrutto

PerFrutto is an integrated system capable of accurately predicting the quantity of fruit at harvest and the number of fruits for each size class well in advance.
Early knowledge of this data is the key to optimizing decisions on interventions in the orchard during the period of fruit formation and development.
This maximizes the commercial value at harvest, both through the total quantity produced and through the distribution of fruit in the most valuable size classes.

The essence of the project is in the technology.
PerFrutto is not "a business idea", but a real technological innovation achieved through years of study by a group of university lecturers and researchers from the Faculty of Agriculture in Bologna. The innovative content and economic development potential of PerFrutto are also testified by awards such as the prize of the Unibo Launch Pad program that brought representatives of the company to Silicon Valley to develop the technology and entrepreneurial aspects.
