Midori is an innovative SME that for the last 7 years has been creating and selling advanced energy analysis and smart metering services based on data analytics and machine learning with the intention of providing citizens and companies with precise and detailed energy data, such as those on the consumption of household appliances, hitherto inaccessible, but essential to know how energy is used and understand what actions to take to save money and avoid unnecessary waste. Big Data is the oil of this millennium and Midori is the first company in Italy able to create large datasets of the highest quality with the aim of revolutionising the Smart Home scenario applied to the energy sector.
Midori collaborates with leading companies in the energy sector and has been able to generate revenues since the first year of activity for a total of € 1.2 million, thus being able to self-finance the development of its technologies, the result of know-how accumulated in 7 years of research and development in the ICT field.
The team is composed of 67% of engineers, IT development specialists and researchers and the company is hosted by I3P, the Innovative Companies Incubator of the Politecnico di Torino.
