Breaders is an innovative SME that started out as "Forno Brisa" and, in 2024, embarked on a new phase of growth with theacquisition and integration of four artisanal excellences, creating a multi-brand premium bakery-café group. The company is positioned to be a leader in Italy, blending Italian tradition with cosmopolitan elements of American and Northern European bakery coffee shop style. The group has more than 25 outlets spread across Bologna, Milan, Senigallia, Pescara and Udine, offering high-quality artisanal products from local supply chains. The model goes beyond the traditional franchising scheme, enhancing the identity and autonomy of each bakery, but at the same time ensuring consistency and solidity through vertical integration that oversees all stages of the supply chain. Breaders' mission is to innovate bread and café culture, spreading a sustainable approach to food and generating both a positive social and environmental impact.
In the previous crowdfunding campaign ("Forno Brisa 2"), the company announced investments in the supply chain, the opening of new stores, and a roadmap of acquisitions. The goals have been fully achieved: three interventions on the supply chain completed or underway, increase in cultivated hectares, innovative model of autonomous storage and cleaning, and small mills spread in the bakeries. In two years, 12 stores were opened and four acquisitions completed, in addition to the digital investment. Financial results exceeded business plan estimates: for FY24, Breaders reported aggregate group sales of 17.3 million euros. On the same occasion, a third fundraising campaign was announced to support the growth of the bakery network, which is now effectively underway.
