Smartphoners is the technology that transforms the smartphone into a black box.
Thanks to a proprietary data analysis algorithm , it tracks not only the car, but also the driver's driving profile, producing a broad set of data for the insurance and automotive sectors.


Smartphoners already counts 5 million km driven safely by its 30 thousand users, for a value saved to the community of over € 340 thousand.
The service has already landed in France, the format is protected by SIAE and the team has 100 years of cumulative experience in the finance, corporate social responsibility and IT sectors.

With 3 years of research and development and exploiting smartphone hardware technology, such as GPS and oscillometer, Smartphoners collects, analyses and classifies users' driving data (distraction, fatigue, speed, braking distance, cornering, driving time, etc.) focusing on gamification and reward systems to raise awareness of the problems of distracted driving.


It has established commercial partnerships for customer loyalty programmes, corporate social responsibility campaigns, personalised insurance plans and cross-selling activities with international companies such as ALD Automotive, Hurry, Sara Assicurazioni, Europcar, Cooltra and eCooltra.

It operates in a sector, that of road prevention, which is highly topical: distracted driving is in fact the leading cause of death for people under 30, with more than 180 thousand accidents and costs the State € 25 billion every year.
The service offered by Smartphoners, which aims to reward the most virtuous drivers, anticipated the trend of a recent directive of the Institute for Insurance Supervision (IVASS) and an indication of the National Association of Insurance Companies (ANIA).
