The Web Marketing Festival is one of the most interesting Made in Italy events when it comes to innovation.
Also this year Mamacrowd has been partner of WMF and part of the decision jury for the Startup Competition. The part dedicated to startups collects many applications every year and offers both a cash prize and prizes in services from partners and sponsors.
The Web Marketing Festival 2020 was held in a hybrid edition, even for the startup competition on Thursday, November 19, the opening day of the event. The six finalist startups participated in a live streaming from the Palacongressi in Rimini, and were evaluated by the audience connected live together with a jury of experts and representatives of venture capital, investors, corporate partners of the most relevant realities of the innovative ecosystem, including Federico Rastelli representing Mamacrowd.
The winner of the prize awarded by the public, €10,000 in consulting services offered by SearchOnMedia, was Flowpay. The Mamacrowd prize, which consists in a fast track path aimed at an assessment by our team of the opportunity to carry out an equity crowdfunding campaign, was awarded to LightScience.
The startup competition of the Web Marketing Festival has had over the years more than 2600 companies applying. Mamacrowd has also had the opportunity to meet companies in past years during the event, including SmartMicroOptics e Coderblock, who have run successful campaigns on the platform.
