EQUITY CROWDFUNDING
STARTUP
Lean Wire is the new startup to open a campaign on Mamacrowd.
The startup offers an online service to design and build an electrical system through a network of qualified installers; it innovates the plant engineering sector by making professional relationships between customers, installers and distributors transparent, reliable and efficient.
In three months of activity, Lean Wire has issued 80 quotations worth €400,000, of which €20,000 has already been converted into orders; it has signed agreements with 4 qualified installers and obtained very advantageous conditions with partner distributors (e.g. 120 days for payment).
Thanks to the web portal for the sale of electrical systems online, customers get a free project and a reliable quote; installers eliminate the inefficiencies of numerous inspections and find the material already prepared at the distributors; the latter optimize warehouse stocks and open up to online sales.
Lean Wire aims to exploit new technologies in a strongly offline and traditional sector: of the more than 30 thousand Italian installation companies, only 0.4% have a certification and1.1% have a website.
The team, with professional experience in the electrotechnical sector, followed the acceleration path of Speed Mi Up, the incubator ofBocconi University in Milan.
The company operates in a constantly growing sector: 1.25 million homes are renovated each year in Italy, and by 2019 the installation market will be worth more than 60 billion euros.
Investment in Lean Wire, as an innovative startup, benefits from the new 30% tax deductions, both for individuals and legal entities.
