DNAPhone revolutionizes quality control in the food chain thanks to the first portable and cloud-based diagnostic platform. In just 20 hours, the company has raised €191,000 and reached 128% overfunding compared to the capital required> go to the campaign and invest
The device performs chemical and biological analysis in an independent and simple way, without the need to train specialized technicians or set up dedicated laboratories.
It is already available for the wine sector, whose target, in Italy alone, counts over 59 thousand producers, more than 95% of the total market.
The technological solution is highly scalable and applicable in multiple diagnostic fields.
In 2018, marketing will be launched in the water, already tested and validated, and beer sectors, with a pool of 8,500 European companies. The company is also targeting other important supply chains such as olive oil and fresh fruit.
DNAPhone already has a turnover and has already collected 800,000 euros from Ventures, Business Angels, public tenders and European projects.
Founded in the Engineering Department of the University of Parma, it has a multidisciplinary team of engineers, biotechnologists and managers with extensive experience in university research and product development and management.
