Video

This is a specially created video presentation introducing the project.

It is not a substitute for text but rather a way of presenting it without burdening the user and intriguing them to learn more, through text and documents.

It should last no more than a minute and a half and is one of the most important and laborious aspects of the campaign.

We therefore recommend that you start working on it now, together with a specialized agency/production house (if you want we can put you in touch with our trusted suppliers).

Specifications

The video must have the following characteristics:

  • horizontal format
  • 16:9 aspect ratio
  • dimensions 1920 x 1080pixels
  • mp4 format
  • weight not exceeding 500MB

The video should feature a dedicated final graphic with call to action and Mamacrowd logo:

The video should be well calibrated between emotional component and financial information, so as to intrigue the user, and push him/her to invest or learn more about the business in the dedicated documents. Take a look at the videos already available in the platform combined with their strengths and weaknesses

  • Homepal: a video that follows the logic of a commercial: short, emotional and evocative, in which in the first few seconds the distinctive feature of a project considered innovative is perceived. From the beginning it is intended to lead the viewer by the hand to participate in a revolutionary business, on par with others in history. In the second part, it is the founder who explains the target market, strengths of the business, and future goals and objectives. The final call to action is clear. A compelling product that fully meets the guidelines.
  • Coderblock: example of a short, concise, graphed video, suitable for companies whose product is very tech or who are unable, due to tight timelines or limitations, to include the "human component." However, the lack of the latter leaves room for the "spectacular" one, thanks to animations and graphics that accompany the storytelling and keep the attention high.
  • Slot: The narrative follows a time line, with an initial reference to origins (with achievements) all the way to future plans. Implementing this storytelling requires more attention to duration to avoid drops in user attention. E.g., in this video the reference to products could have been shorter.

NB. Any testimonials from investors, collaborators or customers such as technological details or detailed narratives can be inserted during the campaigns through video pills, so as not to overly lengthen the main video

Approval process

Following, as per the timeline, these will be the steps to follow:

  • sharing the storyboard of the video, drafted based on the guidance given to you by your reference analyst, at least one week before the shoot.
  • sharing of the pre-edited video for first verification of the product with the possibility of editing.
  • sharing of the native video in mp4 format , weighing less than 500MB, sent to Mamacrowd via wetransfer link.

The video will be uploaded by us to the MAMACROWD Youtube channel and visible within the project page.
