Opening a campaign on Mamacrowd means establishing direct contact with a community of equity investors. We will provide you with different formulas for visibility, but successful case histories are created by teaming up, so your support will be critical to achieving results.
Let's start with the coming soon. This is the general description of the project and has supporting images.
It is put online about two weeks before the campaign launch to create traction on the project, encourage search engine indexing, and give a preview of the upcoming new investment opportunities to investors so they can begin to learn about the project.
It also allows them to stay updated on the launch, through the special "follow" button, which will notify them by email of any news.
The page should contain an explanatory "cover" image that succeeds in giving a clear idea of the project. When creating the content be careful to respect the rules of "safe area" that you will find indicated in the platform in the part dedicated to the insertion of the image.
Under the name of the campaign there will be a short abstract to describe the project (max 150 characters).
Next to it we will have a list (3-4 points) with highlights to highlight (to be chosen with your reference analyst).
The text of the coming soon will be a short description (max 1500 characters, including spaces) of the real estate project, aimed at bringing out the added value of the project, the prospects, the team involved (in case of large teams we recommend a selection of professionals with relevant experience) and the objectives of the campaign on Mamacrowd.
You will be able to insert (recommended) Slides to accompany the text (possibly extrapolated from the pitch), we particularly recommend the "Why Invest" slide.
Immediately after the text part there will be the Team section with photos, names, roles, short bio (max 150 characters) and link to the Linkedin profile of the chosen people.
Privacy
In order to publish the image of each individual person in the team, it is necessary to give consent to the privacy policy. The process is simple: when entering data on the platform about each team member, in addition to entering the photo, short bio and Linkedin profile, an email address (personal or corporate) of the specific team person will also be requested, to which instructions will then be sent to follow to conclude the privacy approval process. NB: It will be the team person who will receive the email and have to follow up; it will be necessary for this to be successful for each member to have an active Linkedin profile.
At this stage you are also asked to share with us 2 or 3 images (size 1200x1200px) to be used as creative in the social posts that Mamacrowd will dedicate to your campaign, as specified in the Visibility and Best Practices section of this guide.
1 - Company logo and branding in png, jpg sizes:
2 - Image representing the project, png and jpg format in different sizes:
3 - Slide to accompany, well readable (font min 18), 1280x720px in jpg
4 - Text of max 1500 characters, including spaces, in which you talk about the team's project and goals for the campaign
5 - List team members, with role and Linkedin profile, short bio (max 150 characters)
You will have access to an area of the site where you can enter materials to send in for approval to build your equity crowdfunding campaign page.
You can access it only if you are an admin of a project, through the menu at the top right, under "Campaigns."
You will be confronted with a wizard in great detail, so that you can enter data on:
After entering all the necessary data you will send in approval to the Mamacrowd team, which will get back to you with feedback and any requests for changes. It is very important that the timeline is adhered to, as per the contract.
